Big and bad and built for heavy-duty sound, Alpine's SWR-1242D 12" subwoofer delivers high-impact bass that you can hear and feel. Alpine has taken the best features from its previous SWR Series subs and added the hottest technology for ground-pounding power and superb accuracy.

The 2" dual 4-ohm voice coils are big enough to handle lots of power while offering system wiring flexibility. The tinsel leads are virtually unbreakable — they're woven into the dual progressive Nomex spiders. An aluminum diecast frame provides a secure, non-resonant housing. The SWR-1242D is designed for use in sealed or ported enclosures.

Sharp looks and sharp sounds—Alpine's CDA-9815 CD receiver is a complete car audio package. It will play your MP3 and Windows Media (WMA) files on CD-R and CD-RW with excellent detail and clarity. Navigating through folders and files is a breeze, thanks to the 2-line color display that reads out CD and MP3 text information.

Three 4-volt preamp outputs deliver ultra-clean signal to any component amps and subs you choose to add to your system. A wireless remote control is included for your safety.
